SNAP ONE
A number of new products from several of the brands were presented at the show:
- Triad has a new amplifier on the way. While the release date has yet to be made official, we already know the details of the new SA1: 200W x 2 for power, and high-resolution Dolby Atmos or DTS streaming from popular audio streaming platforms like Spotify. It has an HDMI output for the OSD and supports ARC/eARC.
-Binary is presenting some new products, and adding another word to the dictionary in the process: after the transmitter and receiver, here comes the transceiver. The products on show can be used for picture-in-picture applications, with the intercom video appearing in the top left-hand corner of the screen while the user watches a film. The two videos run simultaneously. It is also possible to play up to 16 channels at the same time on the same screen: suitable for video surveillance or ideal for multi-sport fans. The Binary™ 960 series consists of the following three part numbers: B-960-MOIP-4K-TR, B-960-MOIP-4K-RX, B-960-MOIP-4K-TX-A.
- There are several new security features. Control4's DS2 doorphone is now available with a numeric keypad. Better still, this keypad can be retrofitted to existing DS2s.
- Luma Surveillance has a new AI-powered camera with an impressive zoom. Luma has also developed a very simple system for configuring an area with numerous cameras in no time at all, making integrators' work easier. The customer can then monitor the property with AI-set events on the cameras, and quickly find a camera with an interactive map on The Luma View™ Video Management System (VMS) app.
-Finally, we can now offer you a new brand, Clare Vision. This brand, which has only been available in the USA until now, offers surveillance camera solutions at a more competitive price than the more powerful Luma range. The products integrate into the OvrC environment like all Snap One components.
AIRZONE
It's officially a new Prestige brand! Airzone aims to help installers manage HVAC installations. We'll soon be bringing you a selection of the brand's products, in particular the Aidoo range.
JBL SYNTHESIS
Harmann is launching a new amplifier, Citation. The small model is versatile: it can be used with a TV and wireless speakers, for in-wall speakers and streaming, or in a commercial space... the amp is also compatible with the Control4 environment.
GARVAN ACOUSTIC
Garvan Acoustic, for its part, had a number of new products to present: in particular, the brand has reworked its outdoor speakers to give them more elegant and trendy finishes. In particular, it will be possible to order the SN120 in a concrete finish, the SA115 in marble, or the SN116 in ceramic cladding in 15 different colours. There are also a number of new speaker options for the home, including new, shallower in-wall speakers and a very aesthetic mini subwoofer.
MERITH LILIN
The Taiwanese manufacturer presented two new products at the show: a new 4K NVR (NVR7864 with a maximum capacity of 144TB for 64 channels) and a new line of cameras equipped with artificial intelligence via EdgeAI. Lilin's new camera will be capable of illuminating an entrance or sending out flashes of light depending on the scenarios chosen.
EKINEX
The Italian brand is diversifying its catalogue with the introduction of connected doorphones. On the outside, the 5'' DICO intercom opens the door via a call, a digital keypad or facial recognition. In the home, the DELEGO interface centralises the lighting, shutter and intercom response functions. It is also possible to answer an intercom call from the brand's smartphone application.
LUTRON
As part of its ongoing efforts to improve its product range, the brand is now offering new finishes for its roller blinds. However, the element that caught our attention was not a new product but a new application.
It has no official release date in Europe yet, but we'll be sure to let you know when it does, because it's an excellent sales tool, particularly for your architect customers. Among other things, it allows you to visualise the switch on a photo of the wall where it will be installed, to test different blind finishes in front of an outdoor landscape, to visualise different lighting styles in a room, and so on..
SCREEN RESEARCH
Two new canvases and a new frame system were presented on the stand. The latter automatically adapts to the video format, so there are no unsightly bands on the sides when broadcasting different formats.
MOOVIA
The manufacturer of made-to-measure cinema seating presented its new Lyon range. In line with what the brand has been developing over the last few months, this new sofa boasts a design refined enough to be used in a living room or media room while still providing the benefits of a cinema seat. The Lyon sofa is easily adjustable, and can even be configured as a corner sofa.
SONY
The Crystal Led 4K screen series is now available for the residential market! The flagship of the Sony stand, these screens can be ordered in a customisable size.
Another new feature is that the BZ40 screens (from 55 to 85 inches), which do not include a tuner for professional use, benefit from a FLAGGING improvement in anti-reflection. See for yourself below:
ASCENDO AUDIO
Present in Hall 7, the brand renowned for its subwoofers proved its excellent reputation on its stand with a 1000W 'The 16' subs wall. It's best not to be too close if you've got a heart condition. In fact, most of the videos we took didn't give any results, as our equipment couldn't handle that much power.
STEALTH ACOUSTICS
The brand made in America has presented its new generation of invisible loudspeakers, Linear Radiance, comprising 4 models including a subwoofer. This generation benefits from greater efficiency in its design and choice of components, and larger diaphragms. They come with a 15-year guarantee.
TYBA HOME
An overhaul of the TURN2 ergonomics was announced in the autumn, and now it's here: the interface is more direct and intuitive. It also includes Work with Sonos and Cool Automation.
